Get the most out of Perch
Short, practical guides for the moments that matter — publishing your first page, wiring leads into your tools, and putting results in front of clients.
Frequently asked questions
Can I publish pages on my own domain?
Pages publish on your workspace subdomain, e.g. acme.perchpages.com/p/your-page. White-label custom domains are rolling out during the beta — email us and we'll set one up for you.
Can I edit a page after it's published?
Yes. Edits to a published page are saved as pending changes and only go live when you publish again, so the live page never shows half-finished work. Perch keeps snapshots of your last five published versions.
What happens when I archive a page?
The page stops being served immediately — visitors get a not-found page. Every lead it captured and all of its analytics stay in your workspace.
Are there limits on pages, seats, or AI generations?
No. Your plan includes unlimited published pages, unlimited AI generations, and unlimited team seats.
Why are my view counts lower than other analytics tools?
Perch deliberately under-counts rather than over-counts: known bots and crawlers are filtered out, reloads in the same browser tab aren't re-counted, and repeat hits from the same visitor within a few seconds are deduplicated. Your conversion rate is computed against this stricter number.
How counting worksCan the same person show up as two leads?
No. Perch keeps one contact per email address in your workspace. If someone submits a form twice, the existing lead is updated (missing details are filled in) rather than duplicated, and attribution stays with the page that first captured them.
How do I get leads into my CRM?
Use webhooks. Perch POSTs every new lead as signed JSON to any endpoint you add, and the payload is Zapier-compatible out of the box — so you can route leads to HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Slack, and thousands of other apps.
Set up webhooksWhy do lead notification emails land in spam?
Lead alerts are sent from account@perchpages.com. Mail providers — Outlook especially — are cautious with addresses they haven't seen before, so the first few can be filtered. Mark one as "Not spam" and add account@perchpages.com to your contacts or safe-senders list (and have your clients do the same); after that, deliveries settle down quickly.
Can my clients change pages or leads from their portal?
No. The client portal is read-only: clients see their pages, leads, analytics, and the documents you've shared — they can't edit anything in your workspace.
