Branding: workspace and company brand settings

How logos, colors, and contact details flow onto published pages — and how per-company branding overrides your defaults.

Published pages are never generic: they carry a logo, a primary color, and contact details. Those come from two places — your workspace brand (the default) and each company’s brand (the override). Set the workspace brand once, then override per company wherever a client should see their own identity instead of yours.

The two layers

  • Workspace brand — set in Settings → Brand. This is your agency’s identity and the fallback for every page you publish.
  • Company brand — set on each company’s page. Any field you fill in here wins over the workspace value on that company’s pages.

Resolution is per-field: a company with only a logo uploaded gets its own logo but inherits your workspace colors and contact details. If neither layer sets a primary color, pages fall back to Perch’s default teal.

Brand fields

FieldWhere it shows on a published page
LogoThe header bar, the footer, and social link previews when the page has no hero image.
Brand nameShown in place of the logo when none is uploaded; also used in the page’s browser title and share cards.
Primary colorHero background, call-to-action buttons, section accents, step numbers, and testimonial highlights.
Accent colorReserved for secondary highlights.
Contact email & phoneThe page footer, so every page gives visitors a direct line.

How it plays out

Say your agency brand is teal with your logo, and you run pages for Acme Roofing:

  • Before you brand Acme: Acme’s pages publish with your agency logo, teal buttons, and your contact email in the footer.
  • After you add Acme’s logo and red: the same pages now show Acme’s logo and red buttons — no page edits, no republish needed. Brand is resolved when the page renders.

Social share cards

When a page is shared on social or in messaging apps, the preview uses the page’s hero image if it has one, then the company logo, then your workspace logo. The card title comes from the page headline and the brand name.

Recommended setup

Fill in your workspace brand completely on day one — logo, color, email, phone — so no page ever publishes unbranded. Then treat company brand as part of client onboarding: upload their logo and primary color when you create the company, before the first page goes out.
